Kim is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in international business and she is fluent in Spanish. She has worked in the finance industry for over 27 years and has specialized in mortgages for 23 years.  Kim is a breast cancer survivor and has had the honor of speaking at several breast cancer awareness functions as well as helping individuals going through the tough and emotional process of fighting cancer. She has walked the Susan G. Komen 3-day 60-mile walk to raise money for breast cancer research four times so far!  Her “loves” include tennis, exercise, health, supporting animal rescues, helping senior citizens and the patriotic support of her country.  She is blessed to have been married to her husband, Smith, who is a DeKalb County fireman, for 29 years and is very proud to be a military mom! 

Renee Harbin-Chizek adds her 26 years of experience in the banking industry to the Capital City Home Loans team. During her tenure in the field, she has regularly been recognized as a top producer. Steve Miller is a Partner and Managing Attorney for the firm’s Monroe office where he focuses his practice on new construction closings. Additionally, Steve heads the firm’s Builder Services Division where he assists builders with lot purchases, construction loans and land acquisition and development deals. Steve also has extensive experience with the formation of new companies, the drafting of subdivision protective covenants and the formation of homeowners associations. Steve is an associate member of the Walton-Barrow Board of Realtors, the Georgia Mortgage Brokers Association, Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia and Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association.

Steve received his J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law and his B.A. degree from the University of Iowa. Outside the office, Steve is an avid sports fan; he especially enjoys Major League Baseball.

Jonathan graduated cum laude from the University of the Cumberlands with majors in political science and English. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Georgia in 1994. Jonathan has been in practice for over 25 years and has worked for several boutique firms specializing in REO, foreclosure, corporate relocation, and HOA law, as well as running his own practice in Watkinsville, Georgia, for over ten years, and serving as an editor for a publisher of law-related texts. He enjoys travel, family, music, and Georgia football.
