Community Service Committee will be helping at the Habitat Store in Winder on Monday, April 6th from 8 am -12: 30 pm and would love for any members who can volunteer to help. Habitat Store has requested help unloaded truck, unboxing furniture, assembling furniture and arrange it in the store. Come by to help for an hour or the entire time, whatever time you can spare. What if happiness in real estate isn’t just about success, but how we manage our energy, emotions, and values? The pressures of clients, negotiations, and market demands can quietly drain even the most dedicated professionals. In this session, Maura explores how emotional, body, and moral intelligence work together to enhance communication, decision-making, and relationships. Participants will learn how developing these interconnected skills can reduce stress, increase fulfillment, and create a more balanced, sustainable path toward both personal and professional happiness. Maura will be providing Fair Housing CE immediately following this meeting. Make sure you register for it too! Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing helps real estate professionals interrupt stereotypical thinking so they can avoid fair housing pitfalls and provide equal professional service to every customer or client. Participants will examine the history of bias in real estate, learn about the mind science of identity, study how implicit bias can result in fair housing violations, and engage in interactive exercises to enhance communication skills and business relationships with clients of all backgrounds.
