This course explains the changes to create the 2023 GAR contracts package, which are the most widely used real estate contracts in Georgia. With an emphasis on protection of the REALTOR® by protecting the public, the class is interactive, informative, and challenging. This class will help you develop skills and provide you with new tools to do CMAs correctly. An Appraiser's Guide to CMAs will assist you in identifying proper databases to use, finding the best comparables and most importantly, making the correct adjustments. We will share with you general adjustment parameters and benchmarks to assist you in completing a more accurate CMA for your clients. Course materials include a case study, a CMA grid with built in formulas, and the adjustment guidebook.
This course meets the NAR code of ethics renewal requirement. In day-to-day practice of real estate, REALTORS® are required to make decisions that involve ethical reasoning. This course provides a foundation of ehtical principles and behavior upon which a better understanding of the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics can be understood and woven into daily business practices. Case studies will be used to review real transactions. Through class discussion, the agents will determine whether the actions were appropriate and best ways to prevent the situation where there is a violation. This is a virtual CE Class.
