Designations
Designations are specialized credentials for REALTORS®. Designations offer extensive benefits that are continually improved upon and expanded. For this reason, maintaining a designation requires annual dues and continued membership in good standing in NAR.
Certifications
Like designations, certifications are specialized credentials for REALTORS®. Maintaining a certification requires only an application fee and continued membership in good standing in NAR, but no annual dues.
Scholarships
The Georgia Association provides a scholarship for designation or certification courses, including programs such as: ABR, CRS, GRI and SRES, and the many other designations in real estate related fields.
Scholarship Application Deadlines
- April 15 for courses completed January 1 through March 31
- July 15 for courses completed April 1 through June 30
- October 15 for courses completed July 1 through September 30
- January 15 for courses completed October 1 through December 31 of the previous year
