Register to Vote in Georgia
Registering is easier than you might think. Georgia's online voter registration portal walks you through the entire process in just a few minutes. Here's what to expect:
1. Gather Your Information
Have your full legal name, current residential address, date of birth, and a valid Georgia ID or driver's license number ready. If you don't have a state ID, your last four digits of your Social Security number may be used.
2. Visit the Georgia MVP Portal
Georgia's My Voter Page (MVP) is the official state registration and voter management system. You can register, update your address, check your status, and more — all in one place.
3. Complete & Submit
Follow the prompts, review your information, and submit. You'll receive a confirmation once your registration is processed. Georgia requires registration at least 28 days before an election.
